A videobridge between Moscow and Kiev took place at newsagency RIA-Novosti on the 21st of January, 2009. The following questions were discussed:
- economic and geopolitical factors in relations between the two countries;
- gas conflict and public opinion (based on the data of the newest opinion polls);
- perspectives of the partner relations between Russia and Ukraine.
Leading political scientists, sociologists and economists took part in the videobridge. Valery FEDOROV (VCIOMs Director General) presented the newest opinion polls on the topic of the Ukraine-Russia gas conflict.
