June 9 - A press conference was held on the issue of state participation in economic and financial sectors during and after the global financial crisis.
During the event, the results of a report to assess the effectiveness of state financial and economic regulation were presented. Conducted with under the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy and Entrepreneurship, this study marked Russias first joint study between VCIOM and NAFI (НАФИ).
How effective have government agencies been in the economic and financial spheres during the crisis? Should we prepare ourselves for another the second wave of this crisis, a double-dip recession? What laws are most important for this? These and other questions were fielded by the conferences participants:
